![]() ![]() Callis, West Washington Street, reported Tuesday being ripped off by a 29-year-old woman he let move into his house several months ago upon her release from jail because she had nowhere else to go. Police told the pet owner to clean up after his dog when it poops in someone else’s yard. in regard to a dog complaint at 11:20 a.m. ![]() and found it may have blown open from the wind. – Police checked on an open door at a West Clark Street home at 4:30 p.m. The resident also said they spoke with the Columbiana County Deputy Dog Warden earlier that day. Police checked the dog box, which appeared to have adequate bedding material and food and water. Police spoke to the residents about the complaint and the residents said the dogs were only out periodically throughout the day and put out less frequently on extremely cold days. The case worker for the organization said the dogs were out without adequate shelter and were frequently left without food and water. Wednesday after a case worker with Dogs Deserve Better reported that several dogs were not being property taken care of there. The couple had already left the home before police arrived, however. Police spoke with Jonathan Weaver at the home, who said his girlfriend’s brother, William Tondo, East Main Street, and his girlfriend Janelle McDonnell, Grandview Avenue, were arguing again.
